Stepping into a new executive role is a pivotal moment for any leader. New executives must navigate through unfamiliar territory, embarking on a deliberate journey to establish trust from the outset.
As a coach, one of my favorite things to do is help leaders introduce themselves to their new team. I highly recommend a New Leader Assimilation meeting if you're a new leader. If that's not an option, my peers at Forbes Coaches Council have some solid DIY suggestions, including creating a "user manual" highlighting how you work.
