Simple Ways to Build Inclusion

Diversity, equity and inclusion initiatives are under fire in many organizations. We know these initiatives are important for organizations aiming to create thriving and equitable workplace environments. Yet, beyond official policies, team leaders have considerable influence over the daily experiences of their teammates. The true measure of inclusion lies in the everyday interactions and behaviors within an organization.

Below, my Forbes Coaches Council peers and I recommend straightforward and impactful strategies that leaders can implement to ensure each member feels not just accommodated but genuinely valued and integrated into the team. These strategies can enhance team cohesion, morale and productivity by embracing the unique perspective each member brings to the table.
