About Me

Jill is an executive coach and organization development professional with 30 years of experience in the development of people, teams, and organizations. She combines her empathetic yet direct coaching style, excellent facilitation skills, and understanding of organizational dynamics to deliver superior business results.


Working with clients from a variety of backgrounds, industries, and career levels, Jill specializes in individual coaching engagements, team development sessions, leadership transitions, and organization development initiatives.  Throughout her career, she has served as a trusted advisor to senior-level executives and their teams.  Jill is dedicated to coaching people to be the best version of themselves and coaching teams to be fully interdependent and cohesive.  She believes that self-aware leaders and cohesive leadership teams are the foundation of a healthy and successful organization.

Former and current clients include Air Liquide, Air Products, Ambac, The Articom Group (TAG), Brenntag, CapSpecialty, Covanta, First Commonwealth Federal Credit Union, The Hillside School, Hoffman Construction, Lutron, KCF Technologies, OraSure Technologies, Orsted, PSEG, as well as dozens of individual leaders who have entrusted her with their development.


Jill began her consulting career at Accenture in 1995 where she spent 6 years working in the pharmaceutical industry. She worked through a series of mergers and acquisitions, gaining deep experience in change management, transition planning, and organization design and development.  Jill joined Air Products and Chemicals in 2001, where she spent 15 years working as an internal Organization and Talent Development professional. During that time, she developed a passion for succession planning and talent development.  She partnered with high potential talent by creating individualized development plans; identifying pivotal roles that fit their development needs, and coaching them through the process.


In 2016, she founded Jill Helmer Consulting (JHC) to develop individuals, teams, and organizations to achieve superior business results.  Jill is a member of the Forbes Coaching Council and CAPA PRO, an affiliate network of the Table Group.  

In her spare time, Jill serves as the Chair of the Girls on the Run Lehigh Valley Board of Directors, an organization dedicated to the empowerment of girls.
